Dr. Benham is our general surgeon and is highly experienced in many procedures including spays and neuters, hernia repairs, removing tumors and masses, and other routine surgeries. Call us to inquire about our surgery services. Our surgical suite is equipped to accommodate the needs of animals of all sizes. Our staff is competent in attending to the care of your animal in both critical and routine procedures.

We require a physical evaluation with the surgeon prior to the procedure to ensure your animal is ready to go under anesthetic. While under anesthesia, your animal will receive the same anesthetic care that a human would receive in the hospital. We use ECG, blood pressure monitoring, and respirators. Your animal will also receive observation and fluid replenishing before, during and after the procedure.

Our surgeon has over 30 years of experience in surgical procedures. Our technicians are also able to handle emergency situations. Some surgeries that may be an emergency include bloating, C-sections, hernia repair, leg amputation, and animals that were hit by cars.

Our experienced surgical technicians are the ones who perform your animal's dental procedures. Under the care of Dr. Benham, we do dental surgery for extractions and gingival flap repair. We have a dental suite dedicated exclusively to dental surgery, which is also where your pet's routine dental cleanings will take place. We also have the capability to do dental digital radiographys to see what is going on below your pets gum line.
